Stacking the Shelves [26]

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews where we get to gab on about the books we've won, bought, or otherwise received in the past week. I'm feeling much better this week, thank goodness. I'm behind on my reading thanks to my sinus infection, but that's alright. Nothing too exciting happened, but this weekend is my university's insane Halloween bar party hot mess. So I'll be in my room, avoiding all the obnoxious people while enjoying my book and a glass of wine!

Netgalley:

Claus: Legend of the Fat Man by Tony Bertauski
Red Wolf by Jennifer Dance
The Book of Jezebel: An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Lady Things by Anna Holmes, Kate Harding, Amanda Hess
Cut Me Loose by Leah Vincent

In the Mail:

Forgiving Lies by Molly McAdams Thanks, Aeicha!

Purchased:

A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin

Amazon Freebies:

Locked by Maya Cross

What did ya'll get?

  2. Thanks so much for stopping by my haul! I loved The Game of Thrones, hope you love it. Really like the cover for Red Wolf, it's simple but it really works. Enjoy all your reads.

  4. Game of Thrones is good. Just takes a while to read if your attention span is really bad (like mine. I'm still getting through Clash of Kings). I haven't heard of any of the other books before but hope you enjoy them :)

  7. Forgiving Lies sounds like an interesting read. I need to look more into it although I've heard that the author has a tendency to kill of her characters.
Enjoy your lovely books this week! :)

  15. Hope you're feeling better! Haha you sound just like me RE: the Halloween bar party thing. When there was some sort of obnoxious event going on near campus back when I lived in a dorm, I holed up in my room just trying to tune all the noise out. I lived right across the street from a fraternity. It was SO annoying on weekends if they had a band there. I wouldn't mind it except they had just the worst timing. It seems like every time an obnoxious band came, I had to study for some sort of test. Yeah, not a good night. You have the right idea with a good book and a glass of wine :) I haven't heard of any of these books before so I'm off to search them on GR. Hope you like them!!
