Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews where we get to gab on about the books we've won, bought, or otherwise received in the past week.
This week has moved in slow motion. Latin is already kicking my ass, and it's been so cold I've mostly just been sleeping. But, I did get some reading done. So, little victories.

ReplyDeleteI didn't either, 'til I saw it on Netgalley. Happy cooking & reading!
DeleteSo many cookbooks and Alice books! I can't wait for these books to be put to use in our kitchen, and I'm actually looking forward to the vegan book (weird that I'd be excited for something that doesn't tell you to use pounds of bacon and cheese, I know).
ReplyDeleteI don't believe you'll actually try it lol.
DeleteGood haul! You always have the best looking cookbooks! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteQueen of Hearts sounds really good, and those cookbooks look great. Thanks for stopping by!

DeleteThe Truth About Alice looks so good. Enjoy :-)
ReplyDeleteI haven't requested any cookbooks from Netgalley. How do they look? Can you see the illustrations? Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on what reader you use. I have a black and white kindle, so they look pretty bad on there. But when I use the adobe app on my laptop, they look great!
DeleteQueen of Hearts has such a pretty cover! I also love the cover for that collection of Shakespeare's works; I've often thought about buying one, and it would have been a lot more economical than buying the plays individually, like I've been doing, lol. Enjoy all of your books, and thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI had to get it for a class. He wanted me to get a 100$ copy. I said f- that and got the 20$ B&N one.
DeleteLooks like some yummy stuff!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so

ReplyDeleteI am not vegetarian or vegan, but I'm really interested in seeing if healthy food can be tasty too. Happy reading!
DeleteI'd be curious to read William Shakespeare to see if I enjoy it more than I did when I was forced to read him in high school. :)
ReplyDeleteStephanie @ Inspiring Insomnia
I know that feeling. I appreciate books long after I was forced to read them, haha. Like with poetry.
DeleteFood and Shakespeare? Looks like a great week! Hope you enjoy all of your new books and thanks for stopping by my blog!
ReplyDeleteHuzzah for food! haha. Thanks for dropping by :)
DeleteI like the concept of vegan cooking, and I really should do it more often. I can't have dairy...so I think it would benefit me (I can't have onions either though, so I find I have to take that out of many recipes). Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious, is the onion part of an allergy? I omit onions, but that's just because I don't like the taste.
DeleteOh the covers of those cookbooks are making me hungry! The food looks yummy! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy all your books!
That's such a good idea to request cookbooks, I should do that more. Hope you enjoy all of these!
