Stacking the Shelves [73]

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews where we get to show off the books we've won, bought, or otherwise received in the past week. If a book catches your eye, *click* the picture to go to the Goodreads page of that book.

Finals are over! I am packed and back home for the holidays! I can finally breathe! And also as important, I can read again. Also, my in the mailbox books are not just from this week. They are books that were sent to my house while I was at school since the last time I was home. Keep that in mind before you say I have an addiction ;)

This isn't book related, but I also received this in the mail this week. Many of you know that I am passionately in love with the voice, face, and ridiculous amount of talent that is Aurelio Voltaire. I'm a member of his street team, Voltaire Signal Corps. I was lucky enough to get an Order of Merit for my work promoting his recent Illinois concert. I AM SO HAPPY AND THANKFUL. You can give his voice a listen here, read my review of his novel Call of the Jersey Devil, or pre-order his new book The Legend of Candy Claws just in time for Christmas.

About the Book
Voltaire's long awaited children's book, The Legend of Candy Claws, is now in the home stretch and ready for pre-orders! In this lovely Christmas tale about the evils of bullying, a giant gargoyle steals candy from naughty children on Halloween and delivers them to good little boys and girls on Christmas day. Over thirty full-page illustrations by the incredibly talented, Shamine King accompany this charming, rhyming tale.

Whew. What about you?
